NEW YORK (FOX5NY) - Police officers in New York City are trying to find a man who assaulted a girl in a store in the Bronx.
The NYPD says it happened last month at the F.M. Grocery store at 784 East 163 Street in the Morrisania section. The unknown man went into the store, picked up a metal can of Chef Boyardee lasagna, and hit a 14-year-old girl in the head.
The blow lacerated her head. EMS took her to Bronx Lebanon Hospital for treatment including six staples to close the wound. She has since been released.
The attacker was last seen running into 695 East 163 Street. He is described as a black, about 25, 5 feet 9 inches, 180 pounds, with a mustache and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a dark blue hooded jacket, gray sweatpants, and black sneakers.
