Police in New York City are trying to find a man caught on security footage attacking a church with a bat.
It happened in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn on Wednesday evening.
At about 7:30 p.m. the man walked up to the Williamsburg Spanish Church on Grand Street and used a bat to break the glass doors of the church. It was unclear what prompted the attack.
The man walked away after smashing the glass but briefly returned and appeared to yell something into the building before walking away again.
The NYPD says they are looking for a Hispanic man with dark hair and a mustache. They ask that if anyone has information in regards to the incident to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). They say that all calls are strictly confidential.
