Police bust man accused of groping children at Broadway theater

Police in New York say they have arrested a man in connection with sexual abuse incidents involving woman and children at a Broadway theater in Midtown Manhattan.

Police arrested Hosny Elsayed, 46, of Manhattan on Monday.

Police say the incidents took place on different nights outside of the Broadhurst Theatre on West 44th Street.  The NYPD says Elsayed stood outside after a performance of the musical 'Anastasia' and forcibly touched as well as made inappropriate sexual contact with four victims.

In one incident he had inappropriate contact with a 16-year-old girl on Thursday June 21.

And then police say the next night he touched a 15-year-old female in genital area under her dress and above her underwear before pressing up against the backside of two additional female victims, a 16-year-old and a 19-year-old, with his genitals. The individual then took off on foot. None of the victims were injured or required medical attention.

Elsayed is facing four counts of forcible touching and 4 counts of sexual abuse.  It was unclear if he had a lawyer.
