NYC teen, 17, fatally stabbed in scuffle

Police say a Bronx teenager has been fatally stabbed following a confrontation with someone who asked him for money.

Officials say a homeless man stabbed 17-year-old Carl Ducasse late Saturday on a street corner in the borough's Mount Hope neighborhood.

They say the Ducasse by the suspect who had asked him for money.

When he said he had no money, a fight ensued.

Ducasse was stabbed multiple times and the suspect then fled. There have been no arrests so far.

The victim was rushed by ambulance to St. Barnabas Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

A phone number registered to Ducasse's family was not in service.

He was set to graduate high school in a few days.
