Possible hoax at Boston University cause of police response
NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Police in Massachusetts say they have found no threat at Boston University. Officers had initially responded to a report of a suspicious device Friday morning.
The situation was reported Friday morning at a building that houses a university library and Bank of America branch.
According to broadcast reports, a stretch of the road had been closed.
A tweet from the Boston Police Department's official account initially called it an "unfolding concern."
