Hayden Panettiere in rehab for post-partum depression

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Actress Hayden Panettiere has reportedly checked herself into a rehabilitation facility in her continuing battle with post-partum depression. Last month, Panettiere, 26, spoke publicly about having suffered from post-partum depression following the birth of her child in 2014 with fiance and professional boxer Wladimir Klitschko.

The 'Nashville' actress reportedly felt the need to seek in-patient medical treatment nearly one year after giving birth. 

The character Panettiere plays in 'Nashville' -  Juliette Barnes - also suffers from post-partum depression.

"There's a lot of people out there that think that it's not real, that it's not true, that it's something that's made up in their minds. It'sreally painful and it's really scary and women need a lot of support," said Panettiere on 'LIVE with Kelly and Michael.'

Panettiere took to social media on Oct. 10 to say she was finally feeling better.
