NEW YORK (FOX 5 NEWS) - The Long Island teen who was reported missing days after being harassed on the subway has been found, police said.
Yasmin Seweid, 18, of New Hyde Park, was last seen Wednesday leaving her home New Hyde Park, Nassau cops said. She was wearing a black jacket, black head scarf, black yoga pants, and a blue sweater, police said. She was carrying a bag of clothing.
The family is asking for privacy right now, but police said Seweid's father reported her missing Wednesday at 8 p.m.
Nassau County Police Department's Missing Persons Squad reported that she was found and brought her out of her Long Island home in a stretcher.
Seweid is the same woman who wrote on Facebook a week ago that three men who had been talking about Donald Trump harassed on a subway in Manhattan. She wrote that they tried ripping off her hijab, yelled slurs, and called her a terrorist.
