Gas station robber strikes again

A serial robber who has struck at least 15 times hit up another gas station on Long Island. In the latest robbery, the suspect held up a Mobil on Old Country Road in Westbury on Wednesday at about 10:40 p.m., according to police. No one was injured.

The suspect reportedly wears either a white or black bucket hat or baseball cap. He is described by police as being in his 20s, 5'8" tall and with a thin build.

Suffolk County police are asking anyone with information about the suspect to call the Suffolk Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.

All calls will remain confidential, police said.
