FDNY, NYPD travel to Texas to assist with Harvey rescue response

120 of New York City's emergency workers are headed to Texas to assist in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.

The FDNY’s Incident Management and Urban Search and Rescue Rapid Response teams Saturday night.

With them, they took emergency equipment to help authorities on the ground such as boats, motors, dry suits, Hazmat gear, and three-day food supply.
