FBI arrests Suffolk County cop; seeks more victims

The FBI's New York office asks that anyone who believes they may have been a victim of Officer Christopher McCoy to call (212) 384-2166.

A Suffolk County police officer was charged Thursday with forcing a woman taken into custody to perform a sexual act on him while at the precinct.

On March 16, 2017, McCoy transported the woman to the First Precinct in Wyandanch.

Once they were alone in the precinct’s juvenile room, McCoy forced the woman to perform oral sex, according to the FBI.

The woman reported the incident immediately after her release.

“This type of behavior is outrageous," said Assistant Director in Charge William F. Sweeney, Jr.  "It won’t be tolerated within our criminal justice system, and those who subject others to such cruel conduct will be swiftly removed from serving in any official capacity. Many thanks to our partners from the Suffolk County Police Department for working with us and providing assistance throughout the course of this investigation, which is currently ongoing."

The FBI is asking anyone who may have been a victim of Officer McCoy to call them at (212) 384-2166.
