FBI agent, Yonkers cop involved in fatal shooting

NEW YORK (FOX5NY.COM) - A police officer and a federal agent were involved in a fatal shooting in Yonkers, New York, Friday evening.

"The subject who was shot was taken to the hospital, where he later died," FBI spokesperson Amy Thoreson said in a statement to Fox 5 News. "No one else was injured, and there is no threat to public safety." 

The agent and the Yonkers cop were "conducting law enforcement activity," Thoreson said but did not provide any more information.
