Slain cop's family dog goes missing

The family of a slain New York City police officer is asking for your help to find their missing dog.

The widow of Rafael Ramos says their Maltese-Yorkie mix named Heaven wandered away from home in home in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn, on July 12. The dog isn't wearing her collar.

Maritza Ramos posted photos of the dog on Facebook asking for anyone with information to call her at 347-743-9714. She is offering a reward.

A gunman killed Officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu while they sat in their patrol car in 2014. The killer later fatally shot himself.

The NYPD posthumously promoted Ramos and Liu to detective.
