A family of five turned into a family of eleven overnight when the mother gave birth to sextuplets.

The Waldrop family added Blu, Layke, Rawlings, Rayne, Tag and Rivers in December at Alabama Medical Center.

The three boys and three girls were born weighing between 2.4 and 2.13 pounds. and a month later they all reached the five pound mark and last week, all six were cleared to head home with parents Courtney and Eric Waldrop.

Photographer Ashley Sargent took photos of the babies this week.

Sargent says, "Let me tell you about this family... they are strong, they are resilient, and they are the absolute most positive family you'll ever meet.  They've been seen all over the world because of these beautiful six babies and yet... they are humble."

The family has set up a Facebook page so you can follow their progress.  They say their story is going to be shared on TLC in the future.
