New York City is home to some of the best pizzerias in the world. Wednesday night, many were all under the same roof selling their famous slices for a buck a piece. The cheap eats at the pizza-lover's paradise were all for a good cause.

Scott Wiener is organizer of Slice Out Hunger, a charity event now in its 8th year. Every slice sells for a dollar. Every dollar goes toward charities like City Harvest and Food Bank for New York City. Wiener expects to raise $50,000 this year.

A line wrapped around the block waiting to get in. Lee Bernbaum and his friends told Fox 5 they will try all of the nearly 200 slices. The more they eat, the more they can feed.
