Coastal New Jersey under Tropical Storm Warning

A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for portions of the Mid-Atlantic coast including coastal New Jersey from Cape May to Sandy Hook because of Tropical Storm Hermine.

A Tropical Storm Warning means that tropical storm conditions are expected somewhere within the warning area within 36 hours.

National Weather Service said in a bulletin: "Hermine is moving toward the northeast near 20 mph (31 km/h) and this motion is expected to continue through Sunday with a gradual decrease in forward speed during that time."
