Clinton wins mock election by American students

Kids across the country are paying attention to this election. Scholastic News Magazine held a mock election with about 153,000 students, kindergarten through 12th grade, casting their ballots.

In the end, Hillary Clinton won 52 percent to Trump's 35 percent. 13 percent of the students wrote in other candidates or their mom. Clinton also won 10 of the 11 battleground states.

His is probably good news for Hillary to hear because since 1940 this student vote has been right for every presidential election except two. In 1948, students picked Thomas Dewey over Harry Truman and in 1960, it was Richard Nixon over John F. Kennedy.
