Clinton says latest email probe cost her the presidency

Days after the election, it is reported that Hillary Clinton blamed her loss on James Comey and the reemergence of her email case.

According to the Daily News, Clinton said that Comey’s opening of the case, days before the election stopped their momentum, and although Comey said the email case garnered the same results, it may have affected the Clinton campaign not for the better; “We had to really push ahead to regain our advantage,” she said. “We were once again up in all of the battleground states. We were up considerably in some that we wound up losing. And we were feeling like we had put it back together.”

When the recent case came up, Clinton mentioned it during a rally in Florida calling the new case “strange,” “unprecedented,” and “deeply troubling.”

Clinton won the popular national vote, but lost the Electoral College vote.
