Cat shot with crossbow in NJ

DELANCO, N.J. (AP) — A cat is recovering in New Jersey after it was wounded by an arrow shot from a crossbow.

Burlington County's Humane Police say the cat was found with an arrow sticking through it on Willow Street in Delanco.

A veterinarian removed the arrow, which police say was used for target practice.

The cat is doing well and is expected to survive.
