Bulldog from North Carolina named Cadbury's newest 'bunny'

Cadbury announced the winner of their first ever 'Bunny Tryouts' this week and the winner is a bulldog from Wilmington, North Carolina!

Cadbury wanted to give one lucky pet the chance to star in their iconic annual commercial.

For more than 35 years, Cadbury has been running their ad where animals try out to be the next Cadbury 'bunny.' For Easter 2019, the Cadbury team wanted to find their new spokes-animal. Owners across the U.S. snapped and submitted photos of their pets wearing a pair of bunny ears.

This year, Henri, who lives with his owners Kathie and Tim Santillo in Wilmington, will star with the Cadbury bunny in the brand’s iconic Clucking Bunny commercial

According to Cadbury, more than 4,000 entries were submitted of pets wearing bunny ears for the contest. Henri will make his debut in this year's new commercial, which will be released in April.
