Brooklyn man drowns off Long Beach

NEW YORK (FOX 5 NEWS) - A 26-year-old man from Brooklyn drowned off Long Beach Monday, police said. The man was swimming at Ocean Beach Park after lifeguards were no longer on duty.

He was swimming with another man when both got into trouble. Someone pulled the men from the water, Long Beach cops said.

One man was pronounced dead at the Long Beach emergency room. The other man suffered minor injuries.
