Boy with brain tumor inspires others

They say you learn the character of people when things get tough. Michael, 7, started his fight against an inoperable brain tumor before his first birthday. Tough is all he knows. But his positive attitude through it all has been an inspiration to others.

Michael suffers from a condition called optic pathway gliomas. It has taken most of his vision. 6 courses of chemo have taken his time, but not his love of life.

NYU Langone Medical Center is having Adults in Toyland Casino Night, a fundraiser that helps provide funding for people like Michael to be a kid.

Michael is an inspiration to a lot of people, me included.
