Blue Man Group to perform autism-friendly show

For the fourth year in a row, the wildly popular 'Blue Man Group ' will perform an autism-friendly show in conjunction with the advocacy organization Autism Speaks.

The non-verbal, off-Broadway production at Astor Place Theater will be suitable for children, adults and families affected by autism spectrum disorder, according to organizers.

Sound and light levels will be reduced at certain points and earplugs will be available upon request.

Audience interaction will also be reduced and the lobby will serve as a quiet place for anyone wanting a break from the action.

Tickets are on now on sale for the performance on Nov. 3 at 2 p.m
