NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Barbara Sinatra, philanthropist and widow of Frank Sinatra, died Tuesday in Rancho Mirage, California at the age of 90, according to various media outlets.
"She died comfortably surrounded by family and friends at her home," said John E. Thoresen, Director and Executive Officer of the Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center Foundation to the Desert Sun.
Barbara Sinatra was the music icon's fourth wife. They were married in 1976 until Frank Sinatra's death in 1998.
After her husband's death, Sinatra had the Barbara Sinatra Children's Center built to help abused children at Eisenhower Medical Center.
