Artist transforms into celebrities through makeup

Take a closer look at certain photos of Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, Kylie Jenner, and Johnny Depp. You probably wouldn't be able to tell that they aren't the real celebrities. Instead, this is the face of one man who can make himself look like anyone.

Elliot Rentz, who goes by the name of Alexis Stone, says he is not just a makeup artist—he is a visual artist. The 24-year-old lives in the U.K. For the last year and a half, he has been transforming himself into realistic celebrity replicas.

Stone has done 110 celebrities from social media influencers to actors and actresses. He uses nothing else but makeup. He says he first started using makeup at the age of 16.

"My passion has always laid in transformation," he says. "Before I was doing makeup, I was designing clothes."

The secret he says is always in the details.

Stone has become an internet sensation overnight. He has more than 650,000 followers on Instagram. Millions have viewed his profile including Kim K.

"Throughout doing all of this it's been amazing the celebrities themselves have not only responded but have become a huge fan of my work, which is you have to pinch yourself moment when you get messages from Kim Kardashian," Stone says.

He says it takes him about 30 to 40 minutes and no more than an hour to transform into a celebrity. Stone does admit that he has had some cosmetic work done to improve and help him achieve the transformations quicker.
