NEW YORK (FOX 5 NEWS) - Baseball season is in full swing. While you might want to keep your eye on the ball, you'll want to glance at a few apps between innings.

If you want to have the ultimate fan experience at a Major League game, then download the MLB.com Ballpark app. This free app will customize to the ballpark that you are at, according to Mashable's Lance Ulanoff.

"This is a really good app because it kind of enhances the whole ballpark experience, especially with beacons. These are little devices that are at ballparks throughout the U.S. They basically are location-sensitive sensors for your phone," Ulanoff says. "If you're in a certain area, it knows exactly where you are and so you get extra features. Maybe you get a deal on the food in the ballpark there."

It has an A-to-Z guide for everything. An interactive map will help you find ATMs, charging stations, and restrooms. Watch exclusive videos from team members and upload your own pictures to share. You can also check out other parks before traveling to an away game.

Coach your local team right from the palm of your hand with the USA Baseball Mobile Coach. This app has a home run library full of practice drills for every player on the field. It has detailed diagrams and pictures to help you create practice plans for the infield and the outfield. Keep track of pitching stats throughout the season. And watch videos from experts throughout the field of baseball.

Put your baseball player knowledge to the test with the Baseball Top Players Quiz app. While this app may appear simple in design it can be difficult to name that player. The app has continuous updates and easy levels for beginners. Don't be fooled though! Even a true baseball guru can be called out before even reaching first base on this app.
