Actor Alan Thicke has died in Los Angeles, TMZ reported. He had an apparent heart attack while playing hockey with one of his sons. He was 69.
The Canadian-born actor will likely be remembered for his memorable turn as the dad on the 1980s hit sitcom "Growing Pains." He also hosted game shows and talk shows.
Thicke is survived by his wife, Tanya, and three sons.
Many celebrities, including some who had worked with him, reacted swiftly on Twitter.
