Passengers clap as 7-year-old is escorted off plane during allergy attack
A cold-heart act made for a memorable vacation for a suffering family for all the wrong reasons.
(FOX NEWS) -
A little boy and his family are upset over what happened on a flight home from Washington State.
Giovanni's father has stage-four throat cancer and going to Washington was a bucket list trip.
Before their Allegiant Air flight to Phoenix took off Giovanni had an allergic reaction to a dog on board. The family had to get off the plane and as they left they say some people started clapping bringing the boy to tears.
"We heard the clapping, we heard it, and I just turned back and shook my head, I couldn't believe it, I was just so hopeless," said George Alvarado.
Allegiant offered the family an apology for what happened and credited them a bag fee.
But Southwest Airlines Vacations stepped up and has offered the family a trip to Disneyland.
