- Legendary musician Stevie Wonder performed at SummerStage in Central Park Monday night. If you're wondering why you're just hearing about this now, it is because it was a pop-up concert to announce the fall leg of his critically acclaimed Songs in the Key of Life Performance tour.

Amid the laughs and songs, Wonder struck a serious note about social responsibility.

This wasn't his first surprise concert of the day. Stevie started the day in D.C., then Philadelphia and finished in New York City.

Tickets may have been free but they were a hot commodity. You could only get them online and they were "sold" in 30 seconds.

The media was told the concert would be a quick one; only about three songs. However, it lasted more than an hour.

Regardless if he sang fans' favorites or not, as usual this legend did not disappoint.
