- Another day, another social media firestorm involving rapper/designer Kanye West.

On Friday, West went on a Twitter tirade defending his lyrics about Taylor Swift in a new song off his upcoming album, 'T.L.O.P.' (The Life of Pablo.)

In the song 'Famous,' West raps: "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex, I made that B&!@# famous."

The line is likely a reference to the moment West pulled the microphone out of Swift's hands during the Grammy Awards in 2009 while she was giving her acceptance speech for Best Female Album of the Year.

West said singer Beyonce should have won the award.

On Friday, Taylor's publicist reportedly issued a statement to BuzzFeedNews regarding to the new 'diss.'

West initially reached out to Swift to promote the song, but she declined.

"Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single "Famous" on her Twitter account. She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, "I made that b$#@! famous."

While Swift has not personally responded, West has via social media.

Last week, a nasty and very public social media feud erupted between West and his ex-girlfriend Rose and her ex-husband rapper Wiz Khalifa.

The tit-for-tat began when West apparently misunderstood a Tweet sent by Khalifa referencing "KK."

West thought the initials were for his wife, Kim Kardashian, and fired back, but as it turns out, 'KK' is a nickname for a type of marijuana.

Rose got into the mix via social media and made some explicit comments her and West's sexual history.
