NEW YORK (FOX5NY) - A child as young as 8-years-old is one of four suspects being sought by the NYPD in connection with a violent robbery in Brooklyn.
It happened just after midnight in front of 191 Willoughby Street in Fort Greene. The 30-year-old victim was in front of the home when the kids approached him and demanded his phone.
They began to punch the victim, throwing him to the ground and grabbed his laptop bag, library book and headphones before running away.
Police issued these descriptions:
- Female, light complexion, approximately 12-14 years of age, last seen wearing light colored pants and green hooded jacket.
- Male, dark complexion, approximately 12-14 years of age, black colored sweatshirt with "Brooklyn" in white letters, light colored pants.
- Male, medium complexion, approximately 12-14 years of age, last seen wearing dark pants and a gray hooded sweat-shirt.
- Male, light complexion, approximately 8-9 years of age, last seen dark colored pants, dark hooded coat.
