Minor Metro-North derailment in Westchester County

A Metro-North Railroad commuter train derailed near Rye, New York, Thursday evening, the MTA said. The derailment caused delays and cancelations along the New Haven Line.

The MTA called the incident a "slow-speed, minor derailment" and that no one was hurt.

"Customers at Rye, Port Chester and Greenwich wishing to travel Westbound to Grand Central Terminal are advised to travel Eastbound to Stamford," the MTA said on its website.
