Your dining experience at Omar's is exclusive. This place is tucked inside a historic brownstone in Greenwich Village but "shhh" it is private. Prospective members fill out an application. Once approved, you never have to wait for a table. Omar's has clientele like designers Ralph Lauren and Carolina Herrera.

While we can't show you too much, we can show you some of the five-star food. Hamachi tostado is the most popular appetizer, followed by the roasted cauliflower. Chef George Mokbel showed us how it's done. A favorite entree is marinated duck with carrot puree and quince chutney. Three dishes that equal a culinary home run.

The Core Club's motto is "Interesting people are interesting to us." It was created by J.Crew CEO Mickey Drexler and Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang. Members shell out $50,000 to join and $20,000 each year. The core club offers luxury amenities like a spa and gym and of course, the food is top notch.

After entering the Thursday Room, you're ushered into the lower-level speakeasy, where the hostess introduces you to other members. The dress code is simple: come as you want to be introduced. Members pay a yearly fee in addition to a nightly fee, which covers food from a different Michelin-starred chef each week.

The Thursday Room has four levels, and each room is completely unique. Members are allowed into every one but at some point in the evening everyone winds up in the kitchen. The Thursday Room focuses on food and the arts, which means there's a 20-minute artistic performance. And as with most private dining establishments, its members' identities are private. Most evenings end with guests on the rooftop deck in the water shed.
