NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Two knife attacks happened within hours of each other in Manhattan on Thursday.
Surveillance camera footage released by the NYPD shows a teen running on the Upper West Side.
According to police, the teen stabbed a 33-year-old man in the back while he walked along W. 88th St. near Columbus Ave. at about 5 p.m.
The suspect demanded the victim empty his wallet. The attacker ran off with a Kindle and headphones.
Earlier in the day, a 21-year-old man was slashed in the face in SoHo.
According to police, the attacker allegedly became irate when the victim skipped the line outside popular skate shop, Supreme.

This latest string of knife attacks occurred a day after a busyboy at Silver Spurs diner in Greenwich Village required 120 stitches to his face after being slashed by a panhandler.
