- Los Angeles International Aiport was on lockdown late Sunday night after reports of an active shooter in a terminal.

Police later confirmed that 'loud noises' were mistaken for gunfire.

Passengers were forced outside and onto the tarmac.

A man dressed in a 'Zorro' costume was detained by airport police.

A similar incident was reported at LaGuardia Airport last week.
