Troy Ave released from jail

- Rapper Troy Ave was released from behind bars Monday on a $500,000 bond, according to his attorney.

Police had arrested the rapper in connection with a fatal shooting at a T.I. concert at Irving Plaza on May 25. Ave was shot in the leg in the incident. His bodyguard, Ronald McPhatter, was killed. Troy Ave, whose real name is Ronald Collins, denies he shot McPhatter.

Collins has to wear a GPS ankle bracelet, has an 11 p.m. curfew, must remain in New York City, and cannot go to any bar, club or arena, according his lawyer.

The Daily News reported that Collins's bond was secured by his mother's Brooklyn home.
