Black Girls Code office opens at Google

Black Girls Code is an organization that proves that regardless of race or gender, some young ladies are the future of technology.

Kimberly Bryant is the CEO of Black Girls Code, an organization she started in 2012. She gave Fox 5 an exclusive look at their new permanent 6,000-square-foot home located at Google in New York City. The goal of Black Girls Code is to reach 1 million girls by 2040.

William Floyd is the head of external affairs for Google New York. Google gifted the amazing space, worth almost $3 million. It'll be available to Black Girls Code all year round.

The girls, ages 7 to 17, will learn about computer programming, coding, animation, and mobile app building.

The young girls already know that their passions and dreams can only become a reality with hard work.
