NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Robert, 5, of Quincy, Massachusetts may have a future in law enforcement.
The Quincy Police Department on Wednesday posted to Facebook a recent recording of a 911 call Robert placed to report his father had run a red light.
"911 Quincy Police what is your emergency?"
"Daddy went through a red light. He has a black truck. He was in a brand new car, my mummy's car. "
"Then what happened?"
"He had to go to the car wash and then he went past the red light."
"Is he home right now? Can I talk to him?"
"Hello. I'm just going to apologize that's my five year old son.
"He said you ran a red light."
"Oh no I apologize."
" No problem, as long as we're all set."
"We're good. Thank you"
The dispatcher and the dad shared a laugh during the exchange before the dispatcher let the dad off the hook.
According to local reports, the father made a right turn on red after coming to a complete stop.
