Baby elephant rescued from street drain

Wildlife officials rescue a baby elephant from a drain and took it to the hospital.

A baby elephant in Sri Lanka is safe and sound after being freed from a street drain.

The baby elephant fell into the uncovered drain and got stuck. Rescuers had to break open the drain to free the little guy while others fired smoke bullets to distract the distressed mother elephant.

The baby was taken to a clinic for treatment for injuries sustained in the fall.
