Mars is now visible from Earth and will be throughout the week. The red planet is opposite of the sun giving you a great chance to see it with your own eyes.
NASA's Hubble Telescope has already been snapping pictures of Mars' rare alignment. May 30th will be the closest Mars has been to Earth since November of 2005.
There are a number of viewing parties popping up across the country. Monday night at 8:30 p.m. The Planetarium at Seminole State College in Sanford, Florida will give people a look at the red planet.
