3 top aides to de Blasio subpoenaed

- Three key members of Mayor Bill de Blasio’s administration have been subpoenaed in the ongoing campaign finance election probe involving City Hall.

The three members served on de Blasio's mayoral election campaign and helped raise money for upstate New York senate races.

They have been identified by the NY Daily News as Emma Wolfe, the mayor’s director of intergovernmental affairs, Ross Offinger, de Blasio's top fund-raiser, and BerlinRosen, the consulting firm that works on the mayor’s political campaigns.

BerlinRosen and Offinger allegedly solicited donations to local Democratic committees that then quickly transferred the money to individual candidates, avoiding a $10,300 limit on campaign contributions, according to the NY Daily News.

Wolfe was reportedly directly involved in the solicitation of the contributions.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office and the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office are conducting the investigation.

De Blasio has not been subpoenaed.

He has been adamant that he has done nothing wrong.
