Dozens displaced in Long Island fire

OCEANSIDE, N.Y. (AP) -- Firefighters are battling a blaze at a multi-story building in Oceanside, Long Island.

Firefighters from eight Nassau County departments responded to the fire near West Windsor Parkway. It broke out at around 4 a.m. Monday.

Newsday says the building houses both apartments and commercial businesses.

There are no immediate reports of injuries.

The Red Cross was on the scene to help displaced residents.
