- A Salisbury man is behind bars after two separate residential burglaries, including one in which he was caught on surveillance video with a child's piggy bank.

21-year-old Antonio White was arrested Wednesday morning following the second incident, which happened at a Hebron home in the 25000 block of Porter Mill Road, according to the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office says the responding deputy learned a woman who lives at the home had just gotten home and noticed her dog "attentive to" her bedroom closet door. When she opened the door, she said Antonio White was standing in the closet, according to the deputy. She then noticed that a coin bank usually stored under the bed was now in the middle of the room. Cash, cigarettes and a gift card were also missing from the home, the sheriff's office said. It appeared White had gotten into the house by finessing a back door open.

White was found nearby and arrested. The deputy then learned White was also wanted for a residential burglary three days earlier, according to the sheriff's office.

On March 20, White was said to have entered a Salisbury home in the 28000 block of Ocean Gateway. The sheriff's office says he got in through a kitchen window and took approximately $20 worth of coins. He was caught on the homeowner's surveillance system with a child's piggy bank in his hands. The suspect was known to the homeowner, who was able to identify White.

Upon his arrest on Wednesday, White was charged with burglary, theft and malicious destruction of property and ordered to be held on $25,000 bond at the Wicomico County Detention Center.
