10 injured during July 4 Bronx fire

Ten people were injured after a fire broke out in a building in the Bronx on July 4th.

Firefighters responded to a four-alarm fire on the fourth and fifth floors of a building located at 860 Hunts Point Avenue.

According to the FDNY EMS, none of the injuries, including the three serious injuries are life threatening. Altogether, six firefighters and four civilians were injured.

A New York City Council member tweeted out pictures from the scene of the fire; thanking New York City’s finest and bravest for their quick response.
