Police shot and wounded a robbery suspect in Brooklyn just minutes after two men robbed a Verizon store, the NYPD said.

Two men robbed the store, located in the Midwood section of the borough, and then fled in a car with a third person, police said.

A short time later, cops pulled over the car. That is when one of the suspects brandished a firearm, police said. An officer opened fire, hitting the suspect in the torso, police said. That suspect was taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition.

Police arrested two other suspects and recovered two guns.

Authorities charged Alan Francois, 25, with robbery, Altariq Mciver, 39, with robbery and criminal possession of a firearm, and Marquis Riley, 25, with robbery and criminal trespass.
