Ruth Reichl's new cookbook 'My Kitchen Year'

Ruth Reichl has long been one of the luminaries of the food world. She is a former restaurant critic for the New York Times and the Los Angeles Times and the editor-in-chief of the food bible "Gourmet."

In 2009 "Gourmet" closed and Reichl returned to the kitchen to cope. The result is the new cookbook called "My Kitchen Year: 136 Recipes That Saved My Life," her first cookbook in more than 40 years.
