NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - We all know you can buy a car for cash, finance it or lease it. But now, there's a new way to hit the road. It's called a car subscription.
Depending upon which automaker you choose and where you live, you might be able to drive a different car all of the time or change cars every year.
Now, Volvo has entered the market and their monthly subscription fee includes insurance and maintenance.
So, if you qualify for the Volvo subscription plan, you will pay the same amount for insurance whether you live in Queens, Manhattan or Kansas City.
But you can be turned down for a subscription if your credit isn't up to par or your driving record is really spotty, even if you have room on your credit card.
By the way, all of the subscription services we examined require youto use a credit card for your monthly fees.
