NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Ari Nagel says he isn't looking for more recipients of his sperm. The prolific sperm donor dubbed the 'Sperminator' says he has sired 21 children over nine years with a 22nd on the way.
While sperm donation is nothing new or unconventional, Nagel's methods are. The math and computer science professor does not take a fee and will make the exchange with a prospective mother just about anywhere: either in a clinic or "amongst ourselves."
His recipients are from around the world and are typically women who have just about given up on conceiving a child. Many have exhausted their funds at sperm banks.
"The first two times it was a single woman who was 40-something, having difficulty meeting someone. The second time was a lesbian couple who needed help to grow their family," said Nagel.
Raised in the Orthodox Jewish community of Monsey, New York, Nagel says it is "an honor" to help bring children into the world.
But at 41 years old, Nagel adds that he has no intention of donating his sperm into his 50s.
