NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - BMW and Volvo are both skipping the 2019 New York International Auto Show.
The automakers felt their money was better spent elsewhere.
BMW Head of Communications Tom Plucinsky joined Good Day New York on Tuesday to explain why the German automaker is not going to the show.
Plucinsky also unveiled the first BMW X-7.
The vehicle includes semi-autonomous features to cup holders that will either heat or cool your drink.
The 3-row X-7 is the largest BMW ever made.
The top-of-the-line model unveiled on Good Day New York retails for about $108,000.
