NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Before his highly anticipated interview with GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump on Thursday, Dr. Mehmet Oz, host of the 'Dr. Oz' show, gave Good Day New York a sneak peak.
Some highlights of the interview include the revelation of Trump's medical records. He presented Dr. Oz with two letters, one his most recent physical and another from Lenox Hill Hospital.
"It looks very credible. The specific numbers are credible," said Dr. Oz.
The 70-year-old is 6'3" tall and 236 lbs. and his body mass index-- at approximately 30-- is a bit high.
"Your BMI should be half your height or less," said Dr. Oz.
"I think I could lose a little weight. I've always been a little bit this way. It's tough because of the way I live. But the one thing I I would like to do is drop 15-20 pounds," said Trump.
At 70, Trump would be the oldest president to enter the White House.
"I'm just about the same age as Ronald Reagan and Hillary is a year behind me. I feel as good today as I did when I was 30," said Trump.
Challenger Hillary Clinton and Trump were invited to appear on the 'Dr. Oz' show last month.
"I have been in discussions with the Clinton camp about appearing on the show," said Dr. Oz.
On Wednesday, Clinton's personal physician said she was "recovering well" from pneumonia and remained "fit to serve as President of the United States."
