NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) - Time is of the essence for fans of Irish step-dancer Michael Flatley in New York City.
"Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games" will end its run at The Lyric Theatre on Jan. 3.
“It’s a sensational show. It moves very fast. We have everything from dancing robots to holograms and world-champion acrobats. The audience is going crazy,” said Flatley.
With six shows a week, Flately-- who started dancing at the age of 11-- acknowledges his body has taken a beating.
“There are times you feel your body is beaten and battered,” said Flatley. “My spinal column (is damaged), I have two bad knees, both my shoulders need operations, but other than that I feel great. This form of dance is a discipline. This is what keeps us unique."
